About the position

Join the Snowflake team as a motivated Technical Program Manager, where you will drive strategic and highly visible security programs. In this role, you will leverage your creative thinking, excellent technical program management capabilities, and strong communication skills to make a significant impact. You will be responsible for ensuring that project commitments and deliverables are met, interacting daily with our Security organization, Engineering, IT, and cross-functional business teams to achieve our objectives. As a Technical Program Manager, you will design and deliver important programs that have broad organizational and technical impacts in the security domain. You will translate security and business objectives into execution strategies, bringing strong, data-driven, and strategic technical judgment to your decisions. Your ability to understand complex issues and develop simplifying frameworks will facilitate broader organizational understanding, decision-making, and action. You will take ownership of program deliverables and lead cross-functional teams to drive results, managing the day-to-day operational aspects of technical programs from requirements workshops through post-launch retrospectives. You will prepare, present, and review change requests, status reports, implementation plans, and recommend resources to execute. Creating a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning will be essential, as will promoting continuous improvement. This role requires a high degree of integrity and accountability, with a results-oriented mindset that leverages metrics to make strategic decisions. Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver important programs with broad organizational and technical impact in the security domain.
  • Translate security and business objectives into execution strategy.
  • Bring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions.
  • Understand complex issues and develop/apply simplifying frameworks to facilitate broader organizational understanding, decision-making, and action.
  • Take ownership of program deliverables and lead cross-functional teams to drive results.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of technical programs from requirements workshops through post-launch retrospectives.
  • Prepare, present, and review change requests, status reports, implementation plans, and recommend resources to execute.

Requirements

  • BA/BS/Masters in a technology-related field and/or equivalent years of experience working in technical program management or cybersecurity.
  • 8+ years of technical program management experience with a proven track record of delivering business value.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile Development, Scrum Project Management.
  • Experience with cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and principles.
  • Passion for the cybersecurity domain.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts applied within a cloud-first environment.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Successful experience working, collaborating, and establishing credibility and relationships with leadership, colleagues, and clients.
  • Ability to adapt, be flexible, and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.
