We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our Tech and Product PMO team based in Mountain View. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end tasks that keep the systems behind TikTok running smoothly and work with various team members to deliver the best user experiences while maintaining the highest standards of user privacy. As a TPM, you will act as a bridge between various teams, facilitating collaboration and ensuring that projects are delivered effectively. Your responsibilities will include managing a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and leading all aspects of program delivery. You will transcribe and translate documentation from Mandarin to English, create and maintain the roadmap for the teams you work closely with, and define the processes for driving these programs while constantly seeking improvements in a data-driven manner. General project management activities will include preparing project schedules, defining milestones, tracking and reporting progress, identifying and mitigating risks, leading Agile/Scrum teams, and ensuring smooth product/app releases to the market. You will also be expected to embrace TikTok's culture and principles, promoting an environment that embodies our values. To enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office three days a week, or as directed by their manager/department.
