About the position

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects focused on improving physical security, privacy, and safety across Google's third-party data centers. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance workflows, develop tools and systems, and ensure compliance with Google's security standards. You will be responsible for managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive programs to improve physical security, privacy, and safety across Google's third-party data centers.
• Collaborate with various teams to improve workflows and develop tools and systems.
• Review and approve security designs and specifications for third-party data centers, ensuring compliance with Google's standards.
• Work with partners to implement security systems efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to improve the maturity, efficiency, and quality of security systems and processes.
• Collaborate with partner teams globally to ensure alignment on security initiatives, track progress, and develop tools to measure success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management in a technical field.
• 5 years of experience with physical security systems and privacy in Data Centers or enterprise environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in CPP, PSP or CSPM.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant Project or Program Management professional certifications.
• 10 years of work experience in the physical security systems or a related field.
• Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
