Technical Program Manager

About the position

The position involves managing multiple technical programs and projects across teams, ensuring adherence to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies. The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including cloud architecture, security, and governance, as well as familiarity with ServiceNow and ITIL/ITSM practices. The candidate will act as a bridge between business, development, and operations teams, effectively communicating project updates and driving technical excellence. Additionally, the role includes defining KPIs and metrics for tracking progress and optimizing cloud cost management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor multiple technical programs and projects across teams.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables while managing risks, dependencies, and constraints.
• Ensure adherence to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies for efficient execution.
• Lead initiatives involving Microsoft Azure, ensuring best practices for cloud architecture, security, and governance.
• Act as a bridge between business, development, and operations teams.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and resolutions effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and product managers to drive technical excellence.
• Define KPIs and metrics to track progress and success.
• Establish and improve operational processes using ITIL best practices and automation through ServiceNow.
• Optimize cloud cost management and resource utilization on Azure.

Requirements

• Preferably 11-15 years in IT with at least 5+ years in Technical Program Management or Project Management role for Azure-based projects.
• Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, cloud security, networking, and virtualization concepts.
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM and project management tools.
• Experience with DevOps principles and tools in an Azure environment, including Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• AZ-305 certification is required.
