About the position

Woven by Toyota is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead technology programs in a complex development and production environment. The role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects while managing risks and creating visibility across teams. The position requires a strong technical background and experience in program management, particularly in the automotive or software sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering and product owners to structure work and manage risk in technical programs.
  • Co-create documented plans for customer engagements using scrum methodologies.
  • Promote daily execution of plans by task tracking in Jira and managing dependencies with other teams.
  • Integrate roadmaps across functional, geographical, and cultural boundaries.
  • Lead iterative delivery of projects from concept to ship with a focus on communication and accountability.
  • Identify and proactively resolve systemic issues affecting engineering.
  • Manage team execution and delivery across multiple time zones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or software engineering.
  • Experience in software product engineering, testing, deployment, and integration.
  • High-level understanding of programming languages such as Python or C++.
  • Experience operating across multiple teams and time zones with high-level direction.
  • Experience in Agile software development and V-model system development life cycle.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and inspire in a matrix environment.
  • Experience using project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in functional safety and automotive practices.
  • Knowledge of legacy and latest automotive systems, including domain-based and zonal E/E architectures.
  • Project Management Certifications.
  • Experience of the full life-cycle of product development.
