About the position

Iron Bow Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to support the Department of Justice (DOJ). This role involves overseeing contract requirements, coordinating team activities, and ensuring program objectives are met. The manager will engage in coaching and mentoring team members, focusing on achieving successful outcomes while adhering to software development methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily oversight and guidance to team members and engineers responsible for automation scripts.
• Understanding client's business needs and striving to meet them.
• Planning, execution, and coordination of activities associated with development projects.
• Ensuring project objectives are accomplished within scope and schedule, meeting quality parameters.
• Managing development teams using Agile methodologies.
• Supporting IT Security's scanning of existing web applications.
• Supporting sprint planning and maintaining backlogs.
• Ensuring releases and patches are deployed following an approved schedule.
• Establishing and maintaining security best practices during application development.
• Adhering to accessibility compliance guidelines and remedying non-compliance issues.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex problems with web content and automation.
• Managing documentation for overall effectiveness and accuracy.
• Planning and managing the creation of functional web forms and GUIs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex application/software development projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile development and methodologies.
• Active PMP and CSM certifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of ITIL, CMMI, and ISO best practices, and PMBOK.
• Experience managing and coaching teams across multiple program areas.
• Ability to manage multiple development projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills for client business needs.
• Experience managing code branches, merges, and maintaining Dev/Test environments.
• Effective communication skills with all project team levels and Exec Leadership.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline.
• Ability to hold/maintain an active Top-Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Java, .NET, C#, VB, PowerShell, JavaScript, Power BI, Power Apps, SQL Server 2016.
