About the position

ServiceTitan is seeking a Technical Program Manager to enhance communication and efficiency in delivering high-quality software on predictable timelines. This role involves leading multiple projects, improving software delivery predictability, and fostering collaboration among various teams including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for establishing program success metrics, managing program budgets, and ensuring effective communication throughout the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Drive multiple simultaneous projects from start to finish and deliver value to end customers
• Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization
• Establish and track Program success metrics
• Create and manage long-term goals
• Develop a budget and plan for the program
• Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
• Manage a program team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities
• Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, and team member performance
• Establish communication structure and facilitate program communication
• Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
• Identify, communicate and mitigate Program risks
• Ensure management and leadership have visibility into status, resourcing needs, shifts in delivery timelines and escalations for program
• Demonstrate stellar stakeholder management and executive presentation skills
• Create and enforce cross-functional accountability across all business and technical groups & levels using soft and hard levers
• Collaborate with colleagues within our Technical PMO and across all other functions
• Use a variety of tools like JIRA, Confluence and Google Apps
• Lead and inspire your team and contribute to our company culture

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as a technical project manager or program manager, leading medium to large software development projects
• Project management, Agile development, process improvement/quality certifications (e.g. PMP, CSM, Lean or Six Sigma)
• Direct experience using Agile methodologies for managing projects and coaching teams
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
• Self-motivated with superior organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks
• Persistent and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills to keep the team informed and aligned
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and ability to motivate the team during challenges
• Data-driven approach to decision-making
• Team player willing to assist wherever needed
• Intellectually curious and eager to learn new technologies
