About the position

The Program Manager at Allegient Defense will provide technical support and coordination for various government client initiatives, focusing on program management, advanced systems integration, and engineering. This role involves maintaining key documents, supporting technical evaluations, and managing program execution to meet mission requirements effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings, and technical reviews.
  • Maintain briefings and assist in coordinating input for data calls, such as budget exhibit submissions and congressional requests for information.
  • Support technical evaluation reviews and liaison activities with senior officials in various departments and agencies.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining key documents and master plans that incorporate relevant studies and analyses.
  • Support technical management of programs, including acquisition plan development and performance assessment.
  • Update Task Planning Sheets, Mission Model Canvas sheets, quad sheets, and Fact Sheets, and draft portfolio review slides.
  • Develop databases for technical and programmatic tracking of key deliverables and milestones.
  • Prepare program status reports and after-action reports following major program reviews or key events.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science, including biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics.
  • Recent experience (last 5 years) in federal acquisition and budgeting.
  • Experience in S&T program management.
  • Experience in technical program management of programs in excess of $1M.
  • Experience in planning methodologies to analyze research programs and develop databases for tracking deliverables and milestones.
  • Experience in developing analytical models, procedures, and techniques.
  • Experience in executing and reviewing technical studies, analysis, and design.
  • Experience with DOD RDT&E program/budget exhibits and strategic plans.
  • Experience collaborating with senior government personnel and supporting senior Navy S&T leadership.
