About the position

In this pivotal role at Axient, you will lead the strategic development and execution of projects focused on advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) assessment capabilities. This position requires a visionary leader with a robust background in EW systems and a proven track record in strategic planning and program execution. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive business strategies for the lifecycle management of EW capabilities, ensuring that they remain effective against evolving threats. Your responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating emerging technologies and market trends to integrate into strategic planning. You will oversee the design and development of EW systems, ensuring that program objectives and specifications are met. Leading cross-functional teams, you will drive milestones in system development, production, and testing, while also directing the testing of new EW systems to ensure they meet operational and performance standards. Additionally, you will manage the deployment of EW capabilities, coordinating with operational units for seamless integration. Establishing programs for the ongoing support and sustainment of EW systems, including lifecycle management and modernization efforts, will be crucial. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related activities, liaising with senior management, stakeholders, and partners to foster an environment of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in program management within the defense sector, specifically in Electronic Warfare.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with an ability to lead complex projects from conception to fruition.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with an ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
  • 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
