About the position

The Technical Program Manager will lead major projects and complex assignments in a fast-paced, Agile environment. This role focuses on driving the end-to-end project lifecycle, managing scrum teams, and ensuring successful project delivery across the portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver major projects with broad scope, driving multiple simultaneous assignments from initial planning through execution and completion.
  • Act as Scrum Master/SAFe Agilist, managing ceremonies, implementing SAFe and Agile methodologies, and guiding teams on Agile and TDD principles.
  • Engage with business teams, architects, engineers, and designers to align on project goals, strategies, and delivery plans.
  • Mentor, coach, and foster a supportive environment for team members, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
  • Develop, manage, and report on team metrics using in-house and vendor tools.
  • Proactively remove roadblocks or guide teams in resolving issues, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met.
  • Drive strategic initiatives for process improvement, quality enhancement, automation, and defect tracking.
  • Lead activities related to project cost, schedule, and quality, ensuring effective project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ISM, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • PMP certification required; SAFe or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in Agile workflow tools, specifically JIRA.
  • Proven experience in Agile project management, with a history of successfully managing complex technical projects.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail, able to function independently in a high-pressure environment.
