About the position
The Technical Program Product Manager III will be responsible for scoping and delivering large, complex programs end-to-end within the Consumer Robotics group. This role involves managing project schedules, collecting business and systems requirements, and coordinating design and implementation efforts between internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, effectively communicate goals, and balance business needs with technical constraints.
Responsibilities
- Scope and deliver large, complex programs end-to-end.
- Collect business and systems requirements and write specifications.
- Drive project schedules from design to release and manage the production launch.
- Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal and external teams.
- Make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market.
- Clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.
- Anticipate bottlenecks and provide escalation management.
- Balance business needs versus technical constraints.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering.
- 3-5 years of industry experience as a software developer or technical lead.
- Strong technical program management background with experience leading medium to large programs.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and handle ambiguity or competing priorities.
- Experience in breaking down large, complex projects into manageable pieces and developing end-to-end integrated plans.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge in Robotics, AI/ML software development.
- Prior technical or engineering background with software experience.
- Overall industry experience of 10-15 years.
