About the position

The Sr. Project Manager at Spartan Technologies is responsible for leading and executing large and complex enterprise projects within the technology domain. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, particularly agile disciplines, and involves collaboration with various teams to ensure successful project delivery on scope, budget, and schedule. The position emphasizes stakeholder management, proactive communication, and the creation of project-related deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of various small to large-sized projects within the assigned technology domain.
• Collaborate with leaders of release trains and scrum teams for program tracks.
• Plan, monitor, execute, and ensure successful completion of projects, meeting all project metrics for quality.
• Create and update project-related deliverables such as Project Management Plans and Status Reports.
• Manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders through transparent and proactive status reporting.
• Facilitate and assist in dependency management and impact analysis.
• Track and report on key project metrics and details for decision-making by PMO and Program Leadership.
• Support PMO team by co-owning duties of Release Train Engineer (RTE).
• Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure effective status updates and risk management.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, particularly in implementing large enterprise software systems.
• Bachelor's degree and Project Management Certification(s) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated superior project management skills including strong leadership.
• Strong technical acumen in a software product development environment.
• Superior understanding and application of stakeholder management.

Nice-to-haves

• Broad general knowledge of commercial software in a company's ecosystem.
• Experience in building PM playbooks with a focus on Software Contract Renewals.
