About the position

The Technical Project Manager 2 - IS Epic is responsible for leading and overseeing multiple concurrent projects from initiation through implementation within the UCI Health system. This role involves managing project frameworks, coordinating departmental and cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The incumbent will monitor project scope, requirements, schedules, resources, and deliverables, while also organizing and leading activities related to project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee concurrent projects from initiation through implementation.
• Manage project framework processes and methodologies involving departmental or cross-functional teams.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, staff, and deliverables.
• Organize and lead activities related to the management and completion of projects.
• Monitor the project from initiation through completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 1-2 years' experience in project management or acting in a lead capacity on project teams.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate teams.
• Analytical skills appropriate for the role.
• Working knowledge/experience with Project Management tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
