About the position

The Technical Project Manager 2 at UCI Health is responsible for leading and overseeing multiple concurrent projects from initiation through implementation. This role involves managing project frameworks, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The position requires strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee concurrent projects from initiation through implementation.
• Manage project framework processes and methodologies involving departmental or cross-functional teams.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, staff, and deliverables.
• Monitor projects from initiation through completion.
• Organize and lead activities related to project management and completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 1-2 years' experience in project management or acting in a lead capacity on project teams.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate teams.
• Analytical skills appropriate for the role.
• Working knowledge/experience with Project Management tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
