About the position

The Technical Project Manager at StarRez will play a crucial role in supporting US customers by managing the delivery of technical projects related to software implementations and integrations. This position requires a strong understanding of customer business requirements and the ability to translate these into actionable specifications. The role emphasizes building and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and promote further engagement with StarRez's software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing concurrent multiple software projects
  • Serving as a technical resource on implementations specifically for integrations and data
  • Running StarRez technical training sessions for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing customers with subject matter and business process consultations
  • Resolving project, implementation, or customer issues following proper escalation procedures
  • Creating project documentation and procedures
  • Supporting customers in strategizing and designing the integration of StarRez software with other systems
  • Creating and updating documentation for customers and internal purposes
  • Testing products, custom tools, or components

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Higher Education Housing Experience
  • BS/BA degree required
  • Demonstrated skills in developing lasting 'trusted partner' relationships based on proven delivery results
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in presenting and leading meetings with senior staff
  • Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques
  • Experience working in accounting and/or with accounting systems
  • Experience using or implementing Student Information Systems such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Banner
