About the position

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure timely completion of discrete technical or operational projects.
• Establish technical requirements for projects and define project deliverables and schedules.
• Communicate risks associated with projects and oversee them from planning to execution.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of program policies, procedures, and standards.
• Determine program enhancements and provide technical advice to staff and other departments.
• Perform management assessments, causal analysis, and track Performance Assurance data.
• Develop Performance Assurance metrics and prepare performance status communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Department of Energy.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting a Cat II Nuclear Facility.
• Documented experience in management assessments and causal analysis.
• Ability to plan, organize, lead, and monitor team efforts to completion.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior DOE experience supporting D&D, environmental restoration, and 413.3B construction projects.
• Experience in developing and nurturing effective high-level internal and/or external customer relationships.
