About the position

The Technical Project Manager 3 at ProSphere Tek will oversee and manage technical and operational projects at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. This role involves ensuring timely project completion, defining project deliverables, and communicating risks while providing technical advice and support to various teams. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to guide diverse team efforts from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure timely completion of discrete technical or operational projects.
• Establish technical requirements for the project and define project deliverables and schedules.
• Communicate risks associated with the project.
• Oversee the project from planning, tracking, and execution from initiation to completion.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of program policies, procedures, and standards.
• Determine program enhancements and provide technical advice to staff and other departments.
• Prepare and deliver performance status communications to all levels of management.

Requirements

• 8 years of DOE experience and 5 years supporting a DOE Category II Nuclear Facility.
• Experience in developing and nurturing effective high-level internal and/or external customer relationships.
• Documented experience performing corrective actions, management assessments, causal analysis, tracking and trending of Performance Assurance data, development of Performance Assurance metrics, event investigations, and critiques/root cause/effectiveness reviews.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior DOE experience supporting D&D, environmental restoration, and 413.3B construction projects.
