About the position

The Technical Project Manager (Administrative/Technical) will lead and manage diverse project teams within the Energetics Manufacturing Department at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division. This role involves proposing, planning, executing, and closing out multiple complex projects related to Smart Arsenal tasks. The position requires strong project management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and manage project documentation and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage diverse project teams for Smart Arsenal tasks or projects.
• Compose and present project documentation including cost estimates, project plans, schedules, and statements of work.
• Manage and track project planning and execution information using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Track project financial data using the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Communicate and resolve project status or issues with portfolio managers, resource managers, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12) level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• Experience analyzing and evaluating technical project operation requirements to develop, plan, and execute project schedules and milestones.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area as required by the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA).
