About the position

The Technical Project Manager will serve as the Principal Acquisition Program Manager for the Combat Craft Medium (CCM) portfolio within the Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Program Executive Office - Maritime. This role involves overseeing the full acquisition lifecycle of CCM platforms, managing cost, schedule, and performance, and providing technical guidance and support for technology insertion programs. The position requires collaboration with military services and government agencies, as well as preparation and presentation of briefings to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management oversight and subject matter expertise for the Combat Craft Medium (CCM) portfolio.
  • Manage the cost, schedule, and performance of the full acquisition lifecycle of CCM Mk1 and Mk2 platforms.
  • Supervise the planning, organization, and execution of technology insertion programs into CCM platforms.
  • Provide expert guidance into the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) of all acquisition phases of the CCM program portfolio.
  • Travel as required to support PEO-M Surface Systems events and related technology capability demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with Military Services and Government Agencies.
  • Prepare and present briefings and reports to senior leadership within USSOCOM and the U.S. Navy.

Requirements

  • At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NT-4 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Ability to apply principles of project management to manage acquisition activities.
  • Experience leading Integrated Program or Cross-Functional teams responsible for full program lifecycle execution.
  • Knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
  • Knowledge of the acquisition and management of Naval Surface Warfare platforms.
  • Ability to direct and manage acquisition activities, develop plans and policies, and coordinate staff efforts.
