About the position

The Technical Project Manager - AI & Infrastructure at One Park Financial is responsible for leading AI initiatives across multiple teams and external vendors. This role involves managing complex AI-focused projects and integrations, ensuring collaboration between product, software engineering, analytics, data, and infrastructure teams. The position requires overseeing all phases of project execution, from planning to delivery, while aligning with business objectives and timelines. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for AI, with a proven track record in technical project management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of 3rd party integrations and infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, schedules, and status reports.
  • Act as a liaison between infrastructure, data, engineering, product management, and external vendors to drive project success.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned.
  • Manage documentation and organization of Atlassian tools JIRA/Confluence/Trello.
  • Oversee partnerships with third-party AI vendors and consultants, ensuring that deliverables meet technical and business requirements.
  • Present regular updates to executives, and key stakeholders, and provide detailed project reports and KPIs.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Implement best practices for project management and AI integrations to improve efficiency and quality across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP or similar certification.
  • 4+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on IT, infrastructure, or data-driven projects, and 1 year with AI/ML.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and infrastructure requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with popular AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and familiarity with cloud-based AI services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, Azure AI).
  • Familiarity with APIs, and AI integration tools.
  • Proven experience in managing technical projects across cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Confluence, Airtable, etc.) and Agile methodology.
  • Leadership experience in driving large-scale projects and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams.
  • Must be highly adaptable and experienced in collaborating cross-culturally, working with nearshore and offshore teams.
  • Experience managing teams both domestically and internationally is a must.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex, technical challenges.
