About the position

RIOS Intelligent Machines is looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the deployment of RIOS Agents, an AI-driven hardware and software solution. The TPM will collaborate with engineering teams and serve as a liaison to customers, ensuring successful product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
• Travel to client sites to oversee product deployment and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and customers, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals and timelines.
• Work closely with developers, engineers, and AI specialists to ensure successful product development and deployment.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and milestones using agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning through execution and deployment.
• Monitor progress, address roadblocks, and ensure alignment between technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, ideally in AI-driven or industrial hardware and software products.
• Ability to travel frequently to customer sites.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience managing projects in a Scrum framework.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to balance technical project management with customer-facing responsibilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in industrial automation or AI-based systems.
• Background in the lumber or manufacturing industry is a plus.
