About the position

To support our affiliate of Sportec Solutions Inc in Arlington (TX), we are immediately looking for a Technical Project Manager Americas - Data. The Sportec Solutions Inc is seeking a Technical Project Manager Americas (Data) in Arlington (TX). This person will be expected to manage projects in the field of sports technology independently and act as an interface between customers, external and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for Technical Project Management for American customers of Sportec Solutions, overseeing the technical management of all data-related products and services. You will provide external consultancy in case of technical questions about the Sportec Solutions Data ecosystem and serve as the interface between external stakeholders and internal departments. Additionally, you will design customer-oriented and innovative technical solutions in collaboration with the Client Project Manager and internal departments. Professional support in the creation of sales offers with a focus on data services will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects in the field of sports technology independently.
• Act as an interface between customers, external and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee technical management of all data-related products and services.
• Provide external consultancy for technical questions about the Sportec Solutions Data ecosystem.
• Design customer-oriented and innovative technical solutions with the Client Project Manager and internal departments.
• Support the creation of sales offers focusing on data services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager.
• Experience in managing IT projects.
• Understanding of relevant technical database components and dependencies (XML/JSON feeds, Auth methods, cloud infrastructure, etc.).
• Comprehensive understanding of data usage in a live sports environment (broadcast, digital, performance analysis).
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office.
• Outstanding written and spoken English skills; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• General understanding of sports technology and the soccer industry.
