About the position

To support our affiliate of Sportec Solutions Inc in Arlington (TX), we are immediately looking for a Technical Project Manager Americas - Video Solutions. The Sportec Solutions Inc is seeking a Technical Project Manager Americas (Video Solutions) in Arlington (TX). This person will be expected to manage projects in the field of sports technology independently and act as an interface between customers, external and internal stakeholders. The role involves technical project management for American customers of Sportec Solutions, overseeing all video-related products and services such as Video Review and Medical Sideline Review. The Technical Project Manager will provide external consultancy for technical questions regarding the Sportec Solutions video ecosystem and will serve as the interface between external stakeholders and internal departments. Additionally, this position requires taking responsibility for the successful performance of the VAR project and providing operational support on Major League Soccer match days. The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and at least 2 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, particularly in the sports environment with a focus on video technology, including sports streaming, replay services, and VAR. A comprehensive understanding of referee technologies, hosting, cloud, and video systems is essential for promoting product development. Knowledge of soccer-specific rules and protocols, as well as basic knowledge of video/image processing and computer vision, will be advantageous. The candidate should possess excellent proficiency in MS Office, outstanding written and spoken English skills, and strong interpersonal communication abilities. The role demands the ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment and a general understanding of sports technology and the soccer industry. Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as well as travel nationally and internationally, is also required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects in the field of sports technology independently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager.
• Experience in the sports environment with a focus on video technology (sports streaming, replay services, VAR).
• Comprehensive understanding of referee technologies and hosting, cloud, and video systems.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office.
• Outstanding written and spoken English skills; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• General understanding of sports technology and the soccer industry.
