About the position

The Technical Project Manager for Analytics and Supply Chain will play a pivotal role in leading and managing multiple data and analytics projects within the Data and Analytics team. This position requires a highly skilled individual with a strong background in supply chain management and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence, as well as technical expertise in analytics implementation, particularly with Tableau reporting. The role is hybrid, based in Sunnyvale, CA, and is expected to last for 12 months. In this position, the Technical Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between the Data and Analytics team and various stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will provide technical guidance and support for the implementation of analytics solutions, ensuring that these solutions align with business needs and industry best practices. A deep understanding of supply chain processes is essential to ensure that data and analytics projects are relevant and effective. The responsibilities will also include overseeing the development and maintenance of Tableau dashboards and reports, managing risks associated with projects, and advocating for best practices in project management, analytics, and supply chain operations. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality analytics solutions that meet the needs of various stakeholders. Continuous improvement in project management practices and analytics operations will be a key focus of this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple data and analytics projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Serve as primary point of contact between the Data and Analytics team and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project life cycle.
• Provide technical guidance and support for the implementation of analytics solutions, particularly those involving Tableau.
• Utilize a deep understanding of supply chain processes to ensure that data and analytics projects align with the business needs and industry best practices.
• Use Jira for project tracking, issue resolution, and workflow management. Utilize Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of Tableau dashboards and reports, ensuring they meet the needs of various stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in Project Management, analytics, and supply chain operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within a supply chain or analytics environment.
• Proven experience with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Strong technical background in data analytics and experience with Tableau for reporting and visualization.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of supply chain and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
