About the position

The Technical Project Manager for Benefits Administration is responsible for coordinating all aspects of product or service offerings from inception to installation, focusing on the delivery of new or enhanced features and integrations to improve customer satisfaction. This role requires extensive interaction with cross-functional teams and is accountable for managing medium to large projects, ensuring on-time and quality outcomes within scope and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of product or service offerings from inception to installation.
  • Manage and monitor project tasks and controls during portfolio planning, project planning, and delivery activities.
  • Deliver project/program objectives on-time, with quality, within scope and budget.
  • Develop, manage, monitor, and report on all project/program tasks, activities, controls, deliverables, and reports.
  • Supply accurate project/program estimates and manage project budget, approved funding, forecasts, and actuals.
  • Promote early awareness, communication, transparency, and mitigation planning of critical dependencies, risks, and issues within projects.
  • Secure and maintain project/program resources and actively manage resource plans.
  • Facilitate and drive simplified solutions to complex problems to enable positive outcomes.
  • Drive lessons learned and knowledge retention for future use.
  • Build partnerships and alliances across the enterprise and at all levels.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and leader with project teams, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships as required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing medium to large projects and/or small programs.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Benefits administration experience required.
  • Strong project management financial acumen.

  • Familiarity with EDI, API, SSO, etc.
