About the position

The Technical Project Manager for Benefits Administration at Voya Financial is responsible for coordinating all aspects of product or service offerings from inception to installation, particularly in the public sector. This role involves extensive interaction with cross-functional teams to deliver new or enhanced features and integrations that improve customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will manage project planning, execution, and reporting for medium to large projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of product or service offerings from inception to installation.
• Manage project planning, execution, and reporting for medium to large projects.
• Develop, manage, monitor, and report on all project tasks, activities, and deliverables.
• Supply accurate project estimates and manage project budgets effectively.
• Promote communication and transparency regarding project dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Secure and maintain project resources and manage the resource plan.
• Facilitate solutions to complex problems to enable positive outcomes.
• Drive lessons learned and knowledge retention for future use.
• Build partnerships across the enterprise and at all levels.
• Act as a trusted advisor and leader with project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing medium to large projects or small programs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience in benefits administration is required.
• Familiarity with EDI, API, SSO preferred.
• Strong project management financial acumen.
