In this role, the Technical Project Manager will define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with project goals. They will develop detailed project plans that include timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. The manager will assign tasks, monitor team performance, and provide guidance and support to ensure that all team members are aligned and productive. Regular status meetings will be conducted, and comprehensive progress reports will be produced to keep all stakeholders informed. The successful candidate will monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion. They will facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring a cohesive and productive work environment. Additionally, the manager will communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in both Chinese and English, managing their expectations and ensuring their needs are met. Quality standards and specifications for project deliverables will be upheld, and the manager will provide technical direction and support to the project team, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives and requirements. The role also involves maintaining comprehensive project documentation, evaluating project performance, and identifying areas for improvement. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years experience as a Technical Project Manager, Producer, or similar role.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of software development or game development.
  • Proactive and self-directed, demonstrating a keen ability to identify tasks requiring attention and promptly taking action.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
