About the position

The Technical Project Manager role at BMNT is focused on managing projects from inception to completion, particularly in the context of government innovation. This position is contingent on a contract award and involves working closely with a small team to identify, scope, and prioritize problems that need solving, while also evaluating commercial companies that can provide solutions. The role requires a blend of project management skills, technical evaluations, and relationship-building with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from inception to completion, including problem scoping, beneficiary discovery, market research, and experimentation.
• Providing technical evaluations of companies and project proposals.
• Researching relevant commercial technology and private capital markets for unique opportunities.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key government stakeholders and relevant ecosystems outside of government, including designing and facilitating public events.

Requirements

• Experience in project and portfolio management.
• Experience evaluating early stage and venture backed companies.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Knowledge of lean innovation principles.
