About the position
The Technical Project Manager will oversee various IT projects, primarily in a remote capacity with occasional on-site meetings. This role is crucial for ensuring project deliverables align with organizational goals and involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee project deliverables for various technical projects.
- Coordinate project timelines and ensure resource allocation.
- Collaborate with System Office IT staff, system owners, and college staff to meet community needs.
- Manage project updates and run steering committee meetings.
- Facilitate effective communication to drive successful project implementation.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience leading PeopleSoft HCM (version 9.2) projects.
- 6 years of project management experience leading ERP projects.
- Active PMP certification is required.
- Experience with Agile project management methodology.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with VA state Cardinal system is a plus.
Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $118K - $149K per year.
- Contract length of 12 months with the possibility of extension based on performance.
