About the position

The Technical Project Manager/Coordinator will lead and manage IT Field Services projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role involves planning, executing, and closing projects while coordinating with stakeholders and managing resources effectively. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical teams and high-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT Field Services projects.
• Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Assist with logistics for equipment and facility readiness.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements.
• Monitor resource allocation and adjust as necessary to mitigate risks.
• Conduct training and orientations for project resources.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address issues and obstacles during project execution.
• Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of technician background.
• Experience in project coordination/management.
• Team lead experience managing a team of 6-12 technicians.
• Technical school certification or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Must own a basic repair kit.
