About the position

The Project Manager - Security role is focused on managing multiple IT projects with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity. The position involves preparing recommendations for cybersecurity initiatives, developing quality improvement plans, and presenting program status reports to senior management. The role requires coordination with a larger program team to ensure project compatibility and deliverable schedules, as well as providing technical supervision to meet project goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT projects with cybersecurity goals in mind.
• Prepare recommendations on cybersecurity initiatives.
• Recommend quality improvement plans.
• Develop and present cybersecurity program status reports to senior management.
• Coordinate with the larger Program team to ensure project compatibility and schedule of deliverables.
• Provide technical supervision to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• Certified Project Manager with demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience in vulnerability assessment and use of common security tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
