About the position

The Technical Project Manager (Data & Integration) at TMS LLC is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of data and integration projects within the CRO domain. This role involves developing project plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and technical leadership. The position requires a strong understanding of data management technologies and the ability to mentor a team of technical professionals while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of managed services for data and integration projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of project deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Translate client needs into technical requirements and ensure the delivery of solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with the client to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to the project team, ensuring the application of best practices in data and integration technologies.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of data integration solutions, ensuring alignment with the client's business objectives.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of delivered solutions through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Manage resource allocation, ensuring the team is adequately staffed to meet project demands.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, integration, and management within the project.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver better value to the client.

Requirements

  • PMP certification or equivalent certification.
  • 11+ years of experience in project management, specifically in data management and integration.
  • Strong understanding of data management and integration technologies, including ETL tools, data warehousing, and API integration.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Java).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
