About the position

The Technical Project Manager for Data Migrations will oversee multiple data migration projects from concept to launch, ensuring effective management of project updates, budgets, and team collaboration. The role requires a strong understanding of data flow in database systems within a data warehouse environment, particularly in financial services sectors such as banking and capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple data migration projects from concept to launch.
• Provide project updates and manage budgets effectively.
• Ensure understanding of data flow in and out of databases/systems in a data warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate data migrations.
• Utilize project management tools to track progress and deliverables.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Hands-on experience with Data Migration Projects.
• Experience in financial services, including banking, insurance, and capital markets.
• Understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Technical background in data management, ideally transitioning from a Data Engineer role.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL Server, Snowflake, DBT, Tableau, and Collibra.
• Familiarity with Data Lake applications and migrations.
