About the position

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for organizing and driving initiatives within the Data team, focusing on project management and collaboration to ensure successful delivery of data-related projects. This role requires effective communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on managing project plans and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the Customer Data Platform, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, charters, and roadmaps for data initiatives.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, preparing agendas and documenting decisions and risks.
  • Work closely with technical experts to drive progress and facilitate decision-making.
  • Act as a liaison between the Data team and other departments to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Identify and manage action items, ensuring accountability and follow-through.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, action items, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress and insights to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Management).
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in the data sector.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead discussions with technical experts.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
