About the position

The Technical Project Manager for Multi-Level Security Experimentation will lead efforts in designing, developing, and demonstrating a proof-of-concept Multi-Level Security (MLS) architecture for the US Air Force. This role involves collaboration with various Air Force agencies and commands, utilizing the Koverse data platform and other tools to enhance networking capabilities for Command and Control (C2) and aircraft simulators. The position is critical for advancing Department of Defense applications and will inform future capabilities in flight-simulation training and exercises.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a program plan for experimentation, recording results, and determining next steps.
  • Integrate with the Koverse Data Platform team and the SAIC Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services MLS global development team.
  • Work directly with the DMOC customer and the KDP team to develop solutions using KDP.
  • Assist the KDP team with specifying, building, testing, and deploying customized machine learning applications based on customer requirements.
  • Participate in deployment and implementation planning with customers.
  • Review and assist the team with documentation production to support custom applications.
  • Manage customer funds and expenditures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and nine years of experience, or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess an Active Secret clearance; eligible for Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • Experience leading technical projects and integrating in project teams, preferably in an Air Force or Department of Defense environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • IAT-2 certification.
  • Experience with Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) and/or Air Force Modeling and Simulation Systems.
  • Experience with network engineering.
