About the position

The Technical Project Manager for Multi-Level Security Experimentation at SAIC will lead efforts to design, develop, and demonstrate a proof-of-concept Multi-Level Security (MLS) architecture for a US Air Force customer. This role involves collaboration with various Air Force agencies and commands, utilizing the Koverse data platform and other tools to support networking between Command and Control systems and aircraft simulators. The position is critical for advancing MLS technology within Department of Defense applications, particularly in the context of flight-simulation training and exercises.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a program plan for experimentation, recording results, and determining next steps.
  • Integrate with the Koverse Data Platform team and the SAIC Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services MLS global development team to develop the prototype MLS architecture.
  • Work directly with the DMOC customer and the KDP team to develop solutions using KDP.
  • Assist the KDP team with specifying, building, testing, and deploying customized machine learning applications based on customer requirements.
  • Participate in deployment and implementation planning with customers.
  • Review and assist the team with the production of documentation to support custom applications.
  • Manage customer funds and expenditures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and nine years of experience, or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess an Active Secret clearance; eligible for Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • Experience leading technical projects and integrating into project teams, preferably in an Air Force or Department of Defense environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • IAT-2 certification.
  • Experience with Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) and/or Air Force Modeling and Simulation Systems.
  • Experience with network engineering.
