Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with autonomy, engineering, product, customer operations, finance, and strategy teams to scope, plan and track the various autonomy projects.
- Understand technical implementation at the architectural level and propose alternatives when necessary.
- Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress.
- Build and maintain relationships with May Mobility's internal and external partners.
- Help lead autonomy engineering focusing on autonomy features to build tools and processes to identify risks.
- Consolidate input from various teams to produce and distribute project work plans.
- Coordinate and drive workshops with partners.
- Provide regular status updates on autonomy projects and program progress.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively between development and production teams.
- Drive decisions based on data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or a highly technical field.
- A minimum of 2+ years of prior experience as an engineer or in project management.
- Good understanding of software and hardware development life cycles, ML feature cycle, data infrastructure/pipeline, AI product development.
- High level of initiative and activation.

- Working level knowledge of the autonomous vehicle industry.
- Project/Program management experience.
- Understanding of startup fast cycle and vision to balance long term goals.
- Past experience in autonomy systems.
