The Technical Project Manager II is tasked with reviewing and developing project objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal laws, policies, and procedures. Additionally, the position requires oversight of all quality assurance and quality control aspects of technical projects, necessitating extensive contact with agency management, governmental officials, and private entities. In this role, the Technical Project Manager II will assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives. The individual will serve as a lead worker, directing, developing, and evaluating projects using accepted project management methodologies. Responsibilities include directing, developing, implementing, and evaluating project budgets, schedules, work plans, resource requirements, and cost estimates. The position also involves inspecting construction methods, workmanship, and maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements. Furthermore, the Technical Project Manager II will play a coaching and leadership role for junior project managers and will be responsible for training professional and technical staff. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of projects and ensuring successful outcomes in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
  • 6 years of experience in construction project management, project management, process engineering, and/or business process improvement methodologies.
  • Valid driver's license.
