About the position

As a Technical Project Manager III in Consumer & Community Banking, you will lead complex technology projects that align with business goals and enhance client value. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and project management skills to drive innovation and ensure successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with a fluid business environment, changing job priorities, and working with people at a variety of levels with the ability to work independently and/or in a group
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills across multiple audiences at senior levels
  • Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and execute strategic plans
  • Strong execution skills; self-directed with experience managing delivery across multiple work streams and timelines
  • Interpersonal leadership and influencing skills - ability to lead projects, interact with colleagues at all levels, and prioritize issues
  • Experience operating in an agile methodology and with agile tools, such as Jira
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques
