TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic project team in support of a Fortune 100 healthcare client located in North Chicago. This role is pivotal as it involves overseeing the Infrastructure workstream for a global implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS). The successful candidate will report directly to the Program Manager and will collaborate closely with the client's Infrastructure Services team to manage various requests related to server, mobility, and other infrastructure components. This position requires a strong background in Risk and Change Management, as well as exceptional stakeholder management skills to ensure effective communication and project alignment across various teams. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for driving the project forward, ensuring that all infrastructure-related tasks are completed on time and within scope. This includes managing risks, changes, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in core project management principles and have experience working in a Fortune 500 environment. Technical knowledge in infrastructure areas such as servers, mobility, data centers, and storage is essential, as is experience in highly regulated industries. Familiarity with manufacturing environments is considered a plus. In this role, the Senior Project Manager will be expected to adopt a proactive approach, holding team members accountable and ensuring that deadlines are met. Strong stakeholder management skills are crucial, as the individual will interact with a range of stakeholders from technical teams to senior leadership.
