About the position

As a Technical Project Manager on the cloud and system team at TikTok, you will be responsible for driving critical infrastructure initiatives in collaboration with business stakeholders and engineering teams. This role involves overseeing projects from inception to delivery, ensuring effective communication and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive all aspects of project management including planning, data gathering, analysis, communication, risk management, status tracking, and delivery of initiatives.
• Manage strategic, cross-team initiatives effectively.
• Influence and collaborate across teams including engineering and product to build commitment and ensure project progress.
• Communicate project plans, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Partner with Program Manager and leadership to identify and solve challenges.

Requirements

• Strong experience with project management tools including Confluence, Jira, and Asana.
• Experience with software development project management and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with infrastructure technologies including cloud, datacenter, networking, and systems.
• Knowledge of data center development and asset management ecosystems.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of project management experience driving complex, cross-functional technical projects.
