About the position

The Technical Project Manager IV role is focused on managing complex IT programs and projects within an Agile environment. This position requires extensive experience in project management, particularly in overseeing multiple projects that align with enterprise-wide strategies. The role emphasizes coaching teams in Agile methodologies, ensuring effective communication with leadership, and delivering projects on time and within budget while meeting strategic business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects.
  • Coach individuals in Agile processes and tools.
  • Provide status reporting on project key performance indicators (KPIs), schedule, resources, and milestone delivery.
  • Develop the program strategy, supporting business case, and various enterprise-wide, high-level project plans.
  • Ensure integration of projects and adjust project scope, timing, and budgets as needed based on business needs.
  • Enact Scrum values and practices, ensuring the correct use of Scrum processes.
  • Communicate with IT leadership, business leadership, and IT Business Consultants regarding program strategy, direction, and changes.
  • Deliver all projects in the IT project portfolio on time, within budget, and meeting strategic and business requirements.
  • Track key project milestones and recommend adjustments to Project Managers.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve enterprise goals.
  • Manage specific new technical service engineering programs to meet service/product objectives.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to plans and schedules, identify delivery risks, and drive mitigation strategies and solutions.
  • Coordinate across multiple engineering/development teams as needed.
  • Serve as a conduit between deployment and engineering to ensure requirements and design considerations are incorporated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Project Management certification is required.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in Project Management methodologies and tools.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master with a deep understanding of agile leadership and servant leadership principles.
