Navarro Research and Engineering is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager 4 to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory in a staff augmentation capacity. This position is based in Richland, WA, and involves managing and ensuring the timely completion of discrete technical or operational projects. The Senior Technical Project Manager will establish technical requirements for projects, define deliverables, schedules, and communicate risks effectively. The role encompasses oversight of projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring that all activities align with customer requirements and programmatic needs. The Senior Technical Project Manager will be responsible for contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of program policies, procedures, and standards. This includes determining program enhancements and providing technical advice to staff and other departments. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with the Department of Energy (DOE), particularly in supporting decommissioning and demolition (D&D), environmental restoration, and construction projects under DOE Order 413.3B. The role requires the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external customers, as well as performing management assessments. In this position, the Senior Technical Project Manager will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, effectively planning, organizing, and monitoring a variety of team efforts to ensure successful project completion. The ability to prepare and deliver performance status communications to all levels of management is essential. This role is expected to follow a 4/10 work schedule and may require occasional travel to Los Alamos for onboarding and meetings, with per diem provided for such trips. This is a 3-5 year assignment, and due to the nature of the government contract requirements, US citizenship is mandatory.
