About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Rolls-Royce will lead a multi-functional integrated product team (IPT) to apply a systems approach in developing new systems or modifying existing ones. This role involves defining, planning, monitoring, controlling, and delivering managed changes to meet stakeholder requirements, as well as ensuring compliance with business, customer, and regulatory standards through effective verification programs. The position requires a highly motivated individual capable of driving teams to achieve ambitious goals and embracing innovative technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership to an extended, multi-functional integrated product team (IPT).
  • Define, plan, monitor, control, and deliver managed change to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Plan and deliver verification programs to ensure compliance with business, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and manage project schedules, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Identify and manage project risks, integrating risk activities into the project plan.
  • Define and deliver robust verification, certification, and qualification strategies with customers.
  • Plan and coordinate experiments, including instrumentation and data analysis requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience, or a JD/PhD.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance, requiring USA Citizenship.
  • Experience in project management and engineering.

  • Experience leading or managing a team for program execution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
  • Excellent command of the English language for written and oral communication.
  • Familiarity with external customer interfaces and engine assembly/testing experience.
