About the position

The Technical Project Manager at LibertyWorks Research & Technology (R&T) is responsible for providing technical leadership to a multi-functional integrated product team (IPT). This role involves applying a systems approach to develop new systems or modify existing ones, ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are met through effective planning, monitoring, and control of managed changes. The position requires a highly motivated individual who can drive teams to achieve ambitious goals and embrace innovative technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define, agree, and integrate the plan for the IPT, considering the overall project scope and activities required to produce a solution.
• Create and manage the project schedule, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality targets.
• Define necessary resources to meet stakeholder requirements and negotiate with resource managers to balance load and capacity across the IPT.
• Identify and manage project risks, integrating risk activities into the project plan and escalating risks as needed.
• Define and deliver robust verification, certification, and qualification strategies with internal and external customers.
• Plan and coordinate experiments, including instrumentation and data analysis requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience, or JD/PhD.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance, requiring USA Citizenship.
