About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Rolls-Royce North America is responsible for providing technical leadership to a multi-functional integrated product team (IPT) in the development and modification of systems. This role involves defining, planning, monitoring, and delivering managed changes to meet stakeholder requirements, as well as ensuring that products comply with business, customer, and regulatory standards. The position requires a highly motivated individual capable of driving teams to achieve ambitious goals and embracing innovative technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Define, agree, and integrate the plan for the IPT, considering the overall project scope and activities required to produce a solution.
  • Create and manage the project schedule, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Define necessary resources to meet stakeholder requirements and negotiate with resource managers to balance load and capacity across the IPT.
  • Identify and manage project risks, including technical, cost, supply chain, and timescale risks, and escalate as necessary.
  • Define and deliver robust verification, certification, and qualification strategies with internal and external customers.
  • Plan and coordinate experiments, including instrumentation and data analysis requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience, or JD/PhD.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance, requiring USA Citizenship.
