The Technical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in steering the long-term planning and execution of technical programs within the organization. This position requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in project management, particularly within a SAFe Agile framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring investment costs on a monthly basis, ensuring financial accuracy, and taking corrective actions as necessary. The role involves engaging in technical program discussions, particularly those related to architectural approaches and system design, and co-developing and documenting solutions that align with the organization's goals. In this capacity, the Technical Project Manager will contribute to the prioritization of project goals and pressure test plans for feasibility, capacity, and risk. Collaboration is key, as the individual will work closely with product and engineering leaders to build comprehensive delivery roadmaps. The role demands a strong ability to drive coordination and alignment between Product Owners, Architects, and Engineers to meet both regulatory and technical requirements. The Technical Project Manager will also be tasked with anticipating, tracking, and resolving risks and impediments to delivery, while identifying and addressing complex inter-team technical dependencies. This includes bridging gaps in technical management and executing opportunities for improvements in the delivery process. The individual will be responsible for ensuring technical and regulatory consistency across workstreams and developing documentation to support ongoing maintenance and development of solutions. Participation in PI planning meetings and other Agile ceremonies is essential, as is the facilitation of change management and release management activities. The Technical Project Manager will follow and instill documentation best practices to ensure that designs meet all requirements and will monitor compliance with SDLC standards. Additionally, the role involves providing consolidated inputs for leadership updates and facilitating meetings with leadership regarding delivery status and key decisions necessary for project and program delivery. Tracking and interpreting relevant OKR/KPIs will be part of the responsibilities, along with mentoring and guiding team members on domain knowledge, delivery, and agile processes.
