About the position

The Technical Project Manager will support Metal ALD New Product Transitions while also being flexible to assist with FEP and EPI projects aimed at improving manufacturing performance. This role requires collaboration within a team environment, working closely with various engineering and management functions to ensure successful product transitions and manufacturing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Support Metal ALD New Product Transitions and assist with FEP and EPI projects.
  • Work with Design Engineering, NPMEs, Materials PMs, and Manufacturing Engineering to develop high-level Plans for Record (POR).
  • Manage manufacturing builds from lab chambers to Early Learning Shipment (ELS) builds through the ALD pilot line.
  • Ensure product progression with build and test documentation, supplier quality, and field quality.
  • Finish new product transitions to volume once performance goals for capacity, cycle time, and quality are met.
  • Interface with engineering functions to coordinate product improvements and new product releases.
  • Estimate manufacturing costs and determine time standards for tooling and process requirements.
  • Develop test procedures and assist with test specifications with design/software engineering.
  • Gather operational and test data for statistical process control and evaluate results for continuous improvement.
  • Work with the Customer Experience team to determine root causes of non-conformances and drive corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 4 - 7 years of work experience in project management or related engineering roles.
  • Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise in Project Management.
  • Basic knowledge of Capital Equipment for the Semiconductor Industry.
  • Ability to learn new skills and apply them to solve manufacturing problems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deeper knowledge of FEP, ALD, and EPI tools.
  • Experience with DFx principles to reduce costs and improve quality.
