About the position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage technology-driven projects involving vendor assessments, cloud migration, and disaster recovery (DR) testing. This role requires a candidate with a strong project management background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage technical processes without needing to dive into intricate details. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects within the scope, budget, and timeline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project management of cloud migration, disaster recovery testing, and vendor assessment initiatives.
• Manage the RFP (Request for Proposal) process for vendor selection, including evaluations, negotiations, and coordination with vendors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and reports to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Lead communication between business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors, ensuring transparency and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive disaster recovery (DR) testing initiatives by coordinating resources, schedules, and requirements while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology-driven initiatives.
• Experience with vendor assessments and managing the RFP process.
• Proven track record of leading cloud migration projects and disaster recovery (DR) testing.
• Strong understanding of DR testing processes, with the ability to oversee and manage without needing in-depth technical expertise.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to convey complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
