About the position

In the Residential Energy sector, we are always looking to make our processes and products the safest, most efficient, and highest quality on the market. The New Process/Product Introduction Technical Project Manager is responsible for the successful rollout of changes to existing products and processes within the Residential Energy Business. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, supply chain, demand planning, and operations teams to ensure that changes are implemented successfully. As the key point of contact for all cross-functional changes to existing products and processes, the Technical Project Manager will run the Change Control Board, meeting with change owners to ensure that changes have a well-defined positive business impact prior to leadership review. The role involves running trials, working with operations teams and customers to select candidates, and tracking trials through systems to ensure they are successful learning opportunities. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager will support trial data analysis with change owners to justify the move to full-scale launch, manage supersession, and update site design tools for successful launch. The position also requires the creation and maintenance of reports and presentations focused on project schedules and budgets, utilizing data visualization techniques. Engaging actively with individuals and multi-functional teams is essential to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Technical Project Manager will also implement process improvements and scalability tools in the areas mentioned above.

Responsibilities

  • Run trials, working with operations teams and customers to select candidates.
  • Track trials through systems and ensure they are successful learning opportunities.
  • Support trial data analysis (with change owner) to justify move to full-scale launch, manage supersession and update site design tools for successful launch.
  • Create and maintain reports and presentations on a regular basis focused on project schedules and budgets, using data visualization.
  • Engage actively with individuals and multi-functional teams to ensure that projects are done on time and within budget.
  • Implement process improvements and scalability tools in above areas.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in new product introduction.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of manufacturing/operations, experience in residential energy is preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate under pressure with rigid time constraints.
  • Ability to track and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, occasionally requiring extended hours.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to communicate across cultures and geographic regions.
